APP
The 900,000 iPhone & iPad apps in the Apple App store alone have been downloaded over 50 billion times. International Data Corporation predicts that the number of mobile application downloads worldwide will grow from 10.9 billion in 2010 to 76.9 billion in 2014. The market intelligence company also anticipates mobile app revenues will surpass $35 billion in 2014. At Appserd we take pride in knowing the current trends and being able to quickly identify if an idea for an app has potential or not. Our approach is to have a process that includes rigorous strategizing, evaluating and researching before handing everything over to our development team.
Strategy
Most apps are created using these steps:
Strategy---> Wireframe---> Design---> Development.
At Appserd we strategize throughout the entire process from concept to development and even after submitted to app stores. Unlike other app developers that break up the process and hand off to different departments, at Appserd you'll have dedicated support throughout the entire process. The initial strategy phase will include coming up with the actual description of what the app will do and all of its functions. What is the idea and how will it become a product?
Evaluation
After we strategize, we then evaluate usability. We will evaluate every aspect in order to launch the best app possible. In this short but very beneficial process we will evaluate not only the general market but indicators that are directly related to the app's concept and success. We really try to visualize if people will want to use the app. Is it worth two minutes of their day? Does it make life easier or more fun? Does it add value for the user? Is there an effective way to make the app concept? Why will people use it? Is it better than other apps?
We will not continue until we can positively answer all of these crucial questions.

Research
During this phase we research what is the best way to create the app so that it will engage the user and make them want to continue using it. We will research how to create the best User Experience and Interface. We won't waste anytime and we won't continue until we agree on a general direction. This is a very exciting step because at this point we can almost envision the app being used.
Development
Here is where magic happens. At appserd we take a lot of emphasis on all the work done before development and even before design. Once we reach development we will at this point have a clear understanding of the design and User Interface. Our developers will work quickly and efficiently to turn all the previous strategy, evaluation and research into a beautiful platform for users to enjoy on their phones. There will be a feature set which will describe how the app will function, help designers design and will be used as a guideline for the foundation and coding.
